Does this come with the latch?
A: Yes it does.This is brand New Replacement Center Console Lid w/Latch. And this is entire lid assembly. Not just the leather cover. It comes with latch to replace the old ones.
HOWEVER, it is not ENTIRE console that comes with the bottom part.

The base plate (under piece plastic) seems hard to detach from original setup, how can I proceed?
A: This is just the lid covers, no hardware is needed. First, remove Four T-25 screws with T-25 hand tool (hand tools does not come with the package) than, Please be careful when you try to detach the base plate (under piece plastic)
from your original lid by pulling all attached tabs away from top lid with gentle force.
Do not use brute force to separate each other, you might damage the tabs on the original bottom piece if you are not careful.

How do I secure the screws? It seams little hard to do so with Philips Screw Driver by hand.
A: We recommend use Power Tools when mounting the screws, it gets the job done easier.
