Notice: Sew the fabric with straight stitching. When you need to sew 1/4 inch away from the fabric edge, place the fabric edge on the outside edge of the presser foot.(On the right side) When you need to sew 1/8 inch off the fabric edge, place the fabric edge on the inside edge of the presser foot.(On the left side) That's why some people use the same presser foot which feels like a quarter of an inch, some people feel like an eighth of an inch, because it's related to the edge of the fabric on the inside or the outside of the presser foot.
