How to Clean 304 Stainless Steel:
The 304 stainless steel is a grade of steel that contains both Chromium and Nickel. It also contains 70-80% iron. The Chromium and Nickel forms a passivity film covering the iron to guard against rusting. If the passive film has been broken, the steel starts to corrode and rust. Several methods for cleaning are outlined below:
-Rinse well with water and dry with a clean cloth or a chamois leather cloth.
-Use alkaline, alkaline chlorinated, or non-chloride cleaners.
-Use small amount of warm white vinegar, only for persistent stains.
-Clean along with polish lines and clean frequently to avoid build-up of hard, stubborn stains.
-Please DON'T use steel wool or abrasive materials which could irreparably scratch the steel surface.
-Please DON'T leave rusty metal objects on the surface for a long time.
-Please DON'T leave open packets or bottles of detergents or other chemical substances near the product.
