The term "Devil Dog" is a very common nickname for all Marines. "Devil Dog" is historically a well-accepted term of endearment, as a title of honor. The "Devil Dog" legend began in World War I and has since become a well-earned description of the warrior spirit found in each and every United States Marine. One side is the marines logo and the words ＂United States Marine Corps＂, the reverse is the devil dog with the motto ＂Semper Fidelis＂.
