1st cutting timothy hay - High Fiber and Great Quality! Quality Characteristics of 1st cutting 1. Higher Fiber than any other cutting 2. More flower heads than any other cutting 3. A little more stem than 2nd cutting, but still very soft and leafy. This years 1st cutting has almost perfect green color with very minimal brown - this is some of the nicest 1st cutting we've ever seen! It is also softer and has more pliable stem than what you would expect from most other first cuttings. The result is hay with a little higher fiber than our 2nd cutting, but still very enjoyable for rabbits and guinea pigs. And if your pet really likes the flower heads, this particular hay has a TON of them!
