Manufactured using standard low-density polyethylene (LDPE), our reclosable biodegradable bags contain an additive that allows them to degrade. The ziplock bags biodegrade 15% within 1 year in landfills as per ASTM D5511 for testing and proving the biodegradation of plastic materials under anaerobic landfill conditions; testing was performed by an independent accredited lab - Northeast Laboratories, Inc.
