It's not recommended to use a paintbrush if you wish to achieve a smooth surface as it would be like trying to paint with sand. However, our paints are structurally designed to be thinned down for use in airbrushes. Do not mix any acrylic paint with water in any way as this dulls the polymer of the medium, making a virtually clear paint opaque.
Once dry, MX24 should create a clear, hard-wearing, water resistant finish that does not require a top coat- unless the item you are painting is to be left out of doors in the elements.
