This patio door lock is constructed of a steel plunger bolt with a plastic knob and housing. This lock comes white in color and it features a 5/16 in. diameter bolt with a 3/8 in. throw. The mounting hole centers are spaced apart at 13/32 in. x 1-3/4 in. on center. This secondary lock provides increased security when ventilating or securing your sliding door or window. This item mounts onto the lower face of the bottom rail and is simple to install with some minor drilling required.
