Grammy-nominated modern metal act SPINESHANK have
reunited after a six year hiatus and are back in full force and
completely rejuvenated. Pulling no punches and holding
nothing back, Anger Denial Acceptance is the most raw
record the band has ever recorded, both sonically and emotionally.
The signature electronic flourishes that marked
SPINESHANK's previous output remain, but they accent a
beefed up rhythm section, serrated guitar riffs and singer
Johnny Santos' unearthly bellowing. Much like the grieving
process the title alludes to, the band plumbed the depths of
personal despair to arrive at the final product.
It is the band's maturity and the time they spent away from
one another that allowed them to achieve new heights on
Anger Denial Acceptance. This is not a new SPINESHANK,
but a renewed one.
