One of the finest and most critically acclaimed releases in Michael Tilson Thomas award-winning Mahler cycle with the San Francisco Symphony, the third is the most expansive of Mahler s symphonies. There are moments of angst here, but the overwhelming message is of love s redeeming power. The peaks this great work scales are some of the most glorious in all music.
