X2 Torch Halogen 70W Model-Specific X2 kits are plug-and-play and take into account your bike's electrical system. Models that need it come with customized wire harness and switch. No cutting or splicing of wires required. The back of X2 is customized with the same connector your model bike uses. X2 is compact and self-contained with no pieces protruding in the back or light-leaks. There is an integrated cable guide to help keep the lines from rubbing. The model-specific instructions were written with your model in mind. Halogen lights can be used on most machines with a stock light and AC or DC power. Most Model-Specific X2 kits come with a custom wire harness that includes a switch. The switch is set to utilize your model's electrical system to the best of its ability; some models can run both lights at the same time, but some can only run the high or low beam. If your bike did not come stock with a switch, one is included in the model-specific kit; either a 2- or 3-position switch. For most models, when the switch is set to low the upper 2 inch lamp's spot beam turns on to illuminate the area ahead (the 4 inch flood lamp is more blinding because of its spread.) On high both lamps ignite to illuminate both near and distant terrain. Fits: KTM EXC/MXC/XC-W/XCF-W/EXC-R 2000-2013 (off-road models with factory lighting, carbureted models only); For use with stock or Trail Tech high output electrical system. Note: Not DOT approved.
