2007 collection of the entire recorded works from one of the Manchester scene's greatest secrets of the mid-80's, The Waltones. The Waltones played their first proper gig in Manchester, September 1984. Their main influences were Dexy's Midnight Runners, Orange Juice and the Beatles. Their time was short but the tunes gathered on this CD are a collection of guitar pop gems that include a full album, singles, b-sides, rarities and previously unreleased tracks. The Waltones guitarist Mark Collins went on to find fame with the Charlatans, with whom he is still a member of to this day. As always beautifully restored and repackaged as is the Cherry Red Records style. 24 tracks.
